About Kapolei Middle School

Kapolei Middle is on an island of Oahu. Kapolei is located on the west side of Oahu and has grades from 6th to 8th.  We have  a population 1,650 of students and 130 staff members.

Before
Before Kapolei Middle School started recycling our school threw  newspapers and soda tabs in the trash!

After
We started our recycling project by putting out collection boxes for newspapers and soda  tabs. We put boxes in the office, counselors office, and the teachers lounges in the sixth, seventh, and eighth grade buildings.  In three weeks we collected fifty pounds of  newspapers over 900 soda tabs!
